Our mission at Kearney Rescue Cats is to match our adoptable cats with their new forever home. We also promote Trap, Neuter, and Return (TNR) services, helping stray and abandoned cats in the community. Kearney Rescue Cats is a 501c3 cat rescue licensed in Kearney, Nebraska.

Year-Round Shoe Drive
Do you have any unwanted shoes lying around? Kearney Rescue Cats works with funds2org, who will repurpose the shoes to help micro-entrepreneurs in developing countries, and our organization earns more money the more shoes we collect.
Donate your unwanted, clean, gently used shoes! Kid sizes up through adult accepted. We have collection boxes at Hilltop, Riverside, and West Villa Animal Hospitals; Kearney Area Animal Shelter
Foster Me
All of our adoptable fur friends are in foster homes in the Kearney area! Foster homes are critical to the success of Kearney Rescue Cats. Anyone interested in serving as a foster home can complete a foster application and, upon approval, will complete a foster contract. Kearney Rescue Cats can provide food and litter, as well as required veterinary care. Foster Application
